History of the Grandorient of Hungary
The Grand Lodge of the Hungarian Grandorient (Magyarország Nagyoriense) was founded in 1871.
When the communist aera has dissapiered was registered again in 1991, as a cultural civil-association under the name of Hungarian Grandorient (Magyar Nagyoriens).
The Obedience is independent but follows the liberal, latin, European branch of freemasonry.
